We have a fully equipped theatre that seats up to 160 people. And you are most welcome to come and perform. All you have to do is to get here, and the rest is on us – use of the equipment, full technical support, accommodation in heritage styled guesthouses, home grown food and comprehensive publicity.

The theatre is built to the exact specifications of the Vedic treatise, the Natyashatra but has state of the art acoustic paneling designed by Didier of Sound Wizard. This reflects Adishakti’s hybridity.

Our resident artists double up as technicians and will personally help you set up, managing all your technical requirements include rigging, focusing and sound balancing.

The theatre attracts the multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multinational mix of Aurovillians, Pondicherians and our eclectic resident guests for from India and abroad.

Performers from all over India and the world have insisted that this is indeed one of the best performance spaces they have been in. Come and experience it for yourself.
